About The Position

The Groundskeeper works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to help ensure the community meets appearance and operational standards. The role is responsible for the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas. The Groundskeeper also assists with preparing vacant apartments for move-in and completing resident service requests as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. The position participates in a rotating on-call schedule and responds to after-hours maintenance emergencies as requested. The role offers hands-on exposure to basic maintenance work and an opportunity to advance into a Maintenance Technician position.

• Ability to participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as requested.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete tasks that support community appearance and operational standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for move-in by new residents.
• Complete resident service requests as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as requested.
• Learn and assist with basic maintenance responsibilities.
