About The Position

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the community and provide high-quality service to residents. The role involves cleaning and caring for grounds, breezeways, stair towers, and common areas; preparing vacant units for occupancy; inspecting building exteriors and lighting; and reporting maintenance issues. The Groundskeeper is also expected to follow company safety and environmental procedures and deliver responsive, professional service to residents. Night and weekend emergency call duty is required.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Valid state-issued driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to use smart mobile devices.
Ability to work independently.
Solid customer relations skills.
Strong communication skills.
Availability for night and weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

Clean, rake, and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
Keep stair towers clean and free of waste.
Ensure exterior steps have treads and are safe.
Remove snow and apply salt during inclement weather.
Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including necessary clean-out tasks.
Inspect building exteriors and lighting daily and promptly report repairs or issues to the maintenance supervisor.
Follow company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Provide responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions to support resident satisfaction.
