About The Position

Maintains Human Kinetics grounds, primarily weeding. This position requires working independently outdoors, often in the heat. Weeding requires long periods of working from a kneeling position. The groundskeeper must have the ability to operate various types of power equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. They must be able to use hand tools required for landscaping. The position requires the ability to follow instructions, complete assignments, and manage time well. This is a part-time temporary position, working 32 hours/week for a maximum of 448 hours. The groundskeeper must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to operate various types of power equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to complete assignments.
Ability to manage time well.
Frequent standing, lifting (50lb), carrying, walking, raking, weeding, kneeling, bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling.
Occasional sitting.
