About The Position

Groundskeeper employees maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community and provide service to residents. The work is performed in and outside a maintenance or machinery environment and residential properties, with frequent direct interaction with residents, maintenance personnel, and community staff.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to use smart mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Availability for night and weekend emergency call duty.

Responsibilities

• Clean, rake, and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
• Keep stair towers clean and free of waste.
• Ensure exterior steps have treads and are safe.
• Remove snow and apply salt during inclement weather.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including necessary clean-out tasks.
• Inspect building exteriors and lighting daily and promptly report repairs or issues to the maintenance supervisor.
• Follow company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Provide responsive, consistent, positive, and professional service to residents.
