About The Position
To be responsible, under the direction of the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor, for the overall maintenance and care of the grounds, parking areas, and common area facilities so they always stay clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polish metalwork
- Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and empty/clean ashtrays
- Transport trash and waste to the disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Replace light bulbs
- Cut and trim grass and shovel snow
- Deliver messages
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments
- Attend and participate in regular meetings and training, as assigned
