About The Position

The Groundskeeper helps meet this mission by maintaining the community’s appearance and cleanliness and providing responsive, professional service to residents. The role includes indoor and outdoor work in maintenance and machinery environments and residential properties, with frequent interaction with residents and community staff. Candidates must be available for night and weekend emergency call duty.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and safe driving record.
Ability to use smart mobile devices.
Ability to work independently.
Solid customer relations skills.
Strong communication skills.
Availability for night and weekend emergency call duty.
Ability to regularly lift and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Clean, rake, and collect debris from community grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
Keep stair towers clean and free of waste.
Ensure exterior steps have treads and are safe.
Remove snow and apply salt during inclement weather.
Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including necessary clean-out tasks.
Inspect building exteriors and lighting daily, and promptly report required repairs or issues to the maintenance supervisor.
Follow company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Provide responsive, consistent, positive, and professional service to residents.
