About The Position

WinnCompanies is seeking a Groundskeeper to join its team at Park Vista, a 392-unit affordable housing property in Anaheim, California. The role performs landscaping and groundskeeping functions to maintain the property's appearance and physical condition in accordance with ownership and management expectations. The listed pay range is $15.88–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• A current vehicle license in good standing and a driving record that meets the standards in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to perform all physical functions of the role.
• Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds by planting, fertilizing, and watering flowers; edging and weeding flower beds; installing mulch; and pruning shrubs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on grounds equipment, including trimmers, edgers, and lawn mowers.
• Water grass and flowers by moving hoses around the property according to the property water plan; mow grass when site requirements call for it.
• Keep the grounds clean by picking up paper, emptying trash receptacles, and sweeping the parking lot and walkways.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during inclement weather.
• Perform assigned indoor work during inclement weather.
• Perform special assignments as needed or requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
