About The Position

WinnCompanies is seeking a Groundskeeper for Park Vista, a 392-unit affordable housing property in Anaheim, California. The role performs landscaping and groundskeeping functions to maintain the property's appearance and physical condition in line with ownership and management expectations. The stated pay range is $15.88–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Less than one year of relevant work experience.
• Hold a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving-record standards in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to perform all physical functions of the role.
• Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds by planting, fertilizing, and watering flowers; edging and weeding flower beds; installing mulch; and pruning shrubs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on grounds equipment, including trimmers, edgers, and lawn mowers.
• Water grass and flowers by moving hoses around the property according to the property water plan.
• Mow the grass, depending on site requirements.
• Keep grounds clean by picking up paper, emptying trash receptacles, and sweeping the parking lot and walkways.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during inclement weather.
• Perform assigned indoor work during inclement weather.
• Perform special assignments as needed or requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
