About The Position

The Groundskeeper maintains the appearance of Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma properties. This full-time position pays $16.85 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Groundskeeper reports to the Grounds Supervisor or Manager. Earned Wage Access is available as an option.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral task directions.
• Ability to understand government public health regulations as needed.
• Ability to understand and follow safety standards related to the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate lawn equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
• Pick up trash and perform routine tasks to maintain the grounds.
• Maintain established lawns and landscaping by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and planting.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and hedge trimmers.
• Care for trees, hedges, and shrubs using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Occasionally remove snow and ice manually from walkways, drives, and similar areas.
• Keep work areas clear of clutter and debris.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
