About The Position

Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the Groundskeeper performs maintenance and cleaning of the property’s exterior to help ensure a positive guest experience. Duties include pressure cleaning exterior areas and fixtures, removing trash around the building and parking lot, and maintaining parking-lot cleanliness. The role may involve working in a smoking environment, at high or low/precarious places, and on flexible schedules that include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is extended. Checks may include a credit check, criminal background check, and drug screen. The company gives hiring preference to qualified members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by qualified members of other federally recognized Native American tribes.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• One to three years of public-area cleaning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a smoking environment.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms occasionally.
• Ability to walk, reach, and climb for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work in high and low/precarious places.
• Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure and complete the required background check before an offer is extended.

Responsibilities

• Pressure clean the front of the building, including entrances, perimeter walkways, large exterior trash receptacles, awnings, entrance mats, and exterior walls as needed.
• Pressure clean back-of-building areas, including the compactor area, awnings, food and beverage concrete walkways to snack bars, security and administration staircases, the Bingo entrance and exterior mats, interior trash receptacles, and chain-link fencing and slats.
• Empty trash receptacles around the building and throughout the parking lot, and pick up trash from parking-lot medians and landscaping.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot.
