About The Position

STEP, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Groundskeeper to join its Facilities and Maintenance team. This hands-on, year-round position maintains and enhances agency facilities and grounds while supporting the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of employees, clients, and visitors. The role involves a variety of groundskeeping, maintenance, and facility support duties, indoors and outdoors, and offers a consistent schedule and competitive benefits. The position requires regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions and the ability to perform physically active tasks. Duties may involve standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying materials, working in confined spaces such as attics or crawlspaces, and wearing required safety equipment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience or technical training in landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, snow removal, or related maintenance work.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Maintain agency grounds through mowing, mulching, raking, pruning, and general landscaping.
Remove snow and ice, including shoveling and salting, and maintain safe walkways.
Assist with facility cleaning and janitorial responsibilities as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance and care of landscaping and groundskeeping equipment.
Help maintain building exteriors and complete general maintenance tasks.
Move furniture and assist with office relocations when needed.
Identify and address potential safety concerns to help ensure a secure environment.
Complete work orders, project documentation, and required records.
Work independently and as part of a team to support facility operations.
