About The Position

This is a full-time position at Family Health West, a community-founded hospital in western Colorado. The role involves maintaining the grounds and supporting maintenance tasks within a vibrant healthcare environment focused on patient wellness and professional growth. Family Health West is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a network of healthcare services, including rehab, outpatient surgery, specialty clinics, emergency services, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities. The location offers access to outdoor recreational activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience preferred.
• Immunizations required for employment

Responsibilities

• Waters grass, plants, shrubs & trees.
• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
• Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
• Mows grass using the walk-behind & riding lawnmowers.
• Trims & prunes shrubs & trees.
• Maintains in good repair planters, curbs & sprinkler systems.
• Participates in snow removal at all campuses as needed.
• Maintain & clean gutters & storm drains.
• Supports maintenance in cosmetic work to keep the building exterior in good repair.
• Supports maintenance with mechanical/HVAC repairs when needed.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
