About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining city property grounds, parks and fields, and performing tasks in maintenance and upkeep of city parks and beautification areas. The role involves using various types of equipment such as mowers, tractors, ATVs, backpack blowers, string trimmers, and edgers. Duties include mowing, edging, working in flower beds, handling turf maintenance and athletic field preparation, cleaning restrooms, removing litter, performing general repairs and basic maintenance of park structures, and assisting with irrigation system maintenance and chemical application.

Requirements

• Six months of related experience
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance
• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Class C Texas driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is beneficial
