About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Grounds Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of grounds keeping, landscaping, and maintenance across our property. This energetic leader will ensure that our hotel spaces are vibrant, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing, creating an inviting environment for visitors, staff, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance, and team supervision, with a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to excellence. As Grounds Manager, you will coordinate landscaping projects, manage grounds maintenance crews, and ensure the proper operation of equipment to uphold the highest standards of aesthetics and safety.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance and grounds keeping
Strong supervising experience with crew management skills; capable of motivating teams toward shared goals.
Skilled operation of grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions; physically capable of performing manual labor tasks regularly.
Leadership qualities that foster a positive team environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise grounds keeping teams to execute lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and tree care activities efficiently and safely.
Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects.
Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and hardscape machinery with precision and safety.
Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized services like hardscape construction or large-scale landscaping projects.
Maintain detailed records of grounds maintenance activities, equipment inspections, safety protocols, and project progress.
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Lead by example in promoting teamwork, safety awareness, and high-quality standards among crew members.
