About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property grounds. This includes regular litter removal, trash-out duties in vacated apartments, and general upkeep of outdoor areas. The position also involves assisting with various maintenance tasks and resident communications.

Requirements

Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
Required to wear back support belt and gloves as tasks dictate.
Must have a valid Driver's license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

Physically walks the property on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds, paying special attention to the pool area, laundry room, mail rooms, dumpster areas, recreation areas, grounds adjacent to the road, walkways, and parking lots.
Performs "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments daily, removing abandoned furniture, trash, and boxes, and transferring them to the dumpster or storage area.
Transfers trash left outside of dumpsters into the dumpster, picks up and sweeps the area, and ensures dumpster doors are closed on windy days.
Details property on a regular basis, including cleaning and raking shrub areas, shoveling mud when necessary, and using a blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean.
Repairs and replaces windows, screens, sliding glass doors, and performs routine maintenance on the property as requested.
Assists with "make-ready" duties when requested.
Helps clean and maintain storage areas.
Distributes resident communications such as upcoming events, pest control notices, and newsletters.
Performs work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter by raking, sweeping, and shoveling as circumstances warrant.
Performs any additional duties assigned.
