Grounds Maintenance Technician (Part-Time with Full Time Opportunity)

About The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities or designee, the Grounds Maintenance Technician performs a variety of semi-skilled grounds maintenance duties. Work may take place in or around areas where young children are present. This position is 24 hours per week. Applicants seeking full-time work may combine it with the Courier position, which is 16 hours per week; a separate Courier application is required. The recruitment establishes an eligibility list active for six months for future vacancies in this classification.
Requirements
- Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
- Two years of increasingly responsible experience in large-scale landscape maintenance and groundskeeping.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in an educational setting is preferred.
