About The Position

In this position, you will maintain, clean, and repair public grounds within the County. You will work under close supervision according to set procedures.

Requirements

Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent
Requires six months of experience in maintenance.
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

Ensures that grounds and plantings within the County are properly trimmed and in good repair, including cutting grass, weed eating, blowing off sidewalks, edging, herbicide, and grass seeding.
Cleans and maintains public spaces, including picking up trash, empty trash cans, and cleaning of restrooms
Operates equipment safely, including zero-turn mower, lawn and yard equipment, and bush hog. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
