Grounds Maintenance Laborer
About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Grounds Maintenance Laborer throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia. Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Picking up debris and other trash around the site and prior to mowing; Operate lawn mowers and other grass cutting equipment; Trimming and edging of grass around trees, shrubs, mulched beds, poles, sidewalks, etc.; Mulching and Weeding of mulched beds; Cut/trim foliage and other required basic tree pruning as directed; Operating basic landscaping and other grounds equipment; and Performing other similar tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Physically able to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Should have general knowledge of weed trimmers and mowers
