Grounds Keeper
About The Position
Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village is Meridian's exclusive resort-style retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Grounds Keeper over the summer. $18.00 per hour starting wage Hours will be Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:00pm. In addition to a beautiful work environment in the Treasure Valley, our employees also enjoy meals from our restaurant-style dining room, access to our fitness room, and an onsite bistro coffee shop. As a Grounds Keeper, you will enrich lives each day by ensuring that the grounds and common areas are attractive, clean, and well-maintained; and that windows and buildings are cleaned. Your high-energy, dedicated attitude toward your work will allow residents to rest easy, knowing their homes and surroundings are in good hands!
Requirements
- Committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
- Experience and knowledge of grounds maintenance, including weed pulling and spraying; pruning trees and other foliage; assisting with planting of trees, flowers, and other plants; maintaining sprinkler systems; and reseeding/repairing lawn where needed
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
- Able to pass a drug test
