About The Position

The Grounds Crew maintains Jackson Rancheria buildings and surrounding facilities in an orderly condition while providing customer service to internal and external guests. The role involves cleaning parking structures, lots, roadways, stairwells, loading docks, and portable restrooms; maintaining supplies and equipment; handling refuse and recyclables; and operating cleaning equipment. Some duties must be performed under proper supervision and with appropriate safety attire.

Requirements

High school education, up to one month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
California Class C driver's license.
Must be insurable through JRCR's agent to perform the job.

Responsibilities

Remove debris from parking structures, parking lots, roadways, and other assigned areas.
Empty trash cans in parking structures and parking lots.
Sweep and mop stairwells.
Remove debris from ashtrays and ensure ashtrays are clean.
Check and supply remotely located security stations, including water cups.
Fuel portable lighting assemblies and check fluid levels under proper supervision.
Clean and service portable restrooms using proper safety attire and supervision, including maintaining chemical solutions and fluid levels, sterilizing units, and stocking paper products.
Transfer debris from loading docks I, II, and III to the refuse compactor, identify recyclable materials, and deposit them in the proper locations.
Use appropriate equipment, fluids, and supplies to remove oils and grease from parking structures and lots, including portable pressure washers, pressure-washer tanks, and scrubbers.
Conduct required daily or weekly vehicle and equipment inspections under proper supervision and complete Vehicle Condition Reports.
Operate a street sweeper and other cleaning equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
