About The Position

Maintains the natural landscape and grounds for all park and resort facilities. Helps provide a colorful and pleasing environment for our guests to enjoy.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Frequently listening, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Occasionally typing, communicating, bending, stooping, climbing, twisting, walking on uneven surfaces, crouching, balancing, reaching, grasping,pulling/pushing, occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• subject to noise

• subject to atmosphereic conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Grooming the plants and vegetation within the park and resort, they could be pruning shrubs or trimming hedges.
• Typical lawn maintenance will be conducted based of daily routine or direction of supervisor.
• Helps keep the plants and flowers watered during the summer months where automatic sources aren’t available.
• Directed to clean up all grounds for park and resort.
• Daily operation requires sweeping through the park and resort picking up fallen vegetation or debris left behind.
• Using backpack blowers they will create piles to be picked up and collected for recycling.
• Based on annual or seasonal tasks, they could be planting or growing plants and flowers.
• Helps construct all plant beds or other resting locations for plants.
• Transporting, lifting, and carrying all the plants to or from the greenhouse operation.
