About The Position

The Grounds Attendant supports The Cove’s outdoor operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming property for guests. This role performs routine landscaping and grounds care, prepares cottage exteriors and outdoor amenities, completes trash collection, and safely operates and maintains equipment to ensure the property remains guest-ready.

Requirements

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma is required.
Driver's license required
Knowledge of and the ability to operate hand power tools and light motorized equipment.
Must be available to maintain flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 71 - 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience in grounds maintenance and landscaping preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates mowers and string trimmers to maintain property.
Assists with tree and shrub maintenance including planting, transplanting, pruning, and removing.
Maintain mulch beds with rakes and removal of weeds
Cleans exterior of cottages & equipment prior to check ins
Operates small hand-powered equipment and large Ride On mowers with constant awareness of safety standards.
Completes trash collection.
Safely operates and maintains equipment to ensure the property remains guest-ready.
