About The Position

Arbor Masters is a third-generation, family-owned company specializing in tree service and plant care. The company emphasizes safety, excellence, customer satisfaction, and an inclusive workplace. The Ground Specialist is a skilled laborer whose work supports safety, quality, and production across ground operations. The position is directly supervised and trained by the Foreman in all areas of ground operations. This is a seasonal position paying $20–$23 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow directions and be safety conscious.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain; stand, walk, bend, crouch, and reach; and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are maintained and accounted for before and after each job.
• Assist the climber by providing appropriate tools and following safety protocols.
• Remove limbs and debris to the disposal area, including raking and basic yard cleanup.
• Operate hand equipment, including chainsaws, rakes, and blowers.
• Maintain a high level of quality in all work performed.
• Complete duties in compliance with Arbor Masters safety policies, ANSI Z133.1, OSHA safety standards, and ANSI A300 Pruning standards.
