About The Position

Arbor Masters is hiring a Ground Specialist, a skilled laborer whose work supports safety, quality, and production in tree care operations. The role is directly supervised and trained by the Foreman in all areas of ground operations. Work includes maintaining tools and equipment, assisting climbers, clearing limbs and debris, and operating hand equipment. The position is seasonal and pays $20–$23 per hour. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow directions and be safety conscious.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive outdoor work in varied weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain; stand, walk, bend, crouch, and reach; and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are maintained and accounted for before and after each job.
• Assist the climber with appropriate tools and safety protocols.
• Remove limbs and debris to the disposal area, including raking and basic yard cleanup.
• Operate hand equipment, including chainsaws, rakes, and blowers.
• Maintain a high level of quality in all work performed.
• Perform duties in compliance with Arbor Masters safety policies, ANSI Z133.1, OSHA safety standards, and ANSI A300 Pruning standards.
