About The Position

As a member of SavATree’s General Tree Care team, the Ground Operations Specialist supports field operations by providing high-quality tree care services that preserve and enhance clients’ landscapes. The role involves hands-on outdoor work on a variety of properties and offers opportunities to develop expertise in tree care while contributing to the team’s success. The employee works collaboratively with crew members and follows safety protocols and industry best practices.

Requirements

Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Desire to work outdoors and a passion for tree care.
Willingness to learn to climb trees without spurs, prune effectively, and identify native and introduced species.
Interest in mastering chainsaw operation and equipment handling.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
Physical stamina and ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with crew members to perform pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and other tree care tasks.
Operate chainsaws, rigging, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
Apply climbing and pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety.
Provide excellent service to clients while working on a variety of properties.
Learn and apply proper safety protocols and industry best practices.
