Requirements

  • Expertise in warehouse management system used in facility & supporting technology
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • GDP (Goods Distribution Practice) Trained

Responsibilities

  • Allocate workloads within the department.
  • Make sure department deadlines are being met in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the effective weekly department meetings with team.
  • Review department goals and business plan periodically with team to ensure buy-in and accountability.
  • Assist the Regional Manager in establishing all staffing requirements and scheduling to support Ground Network Services operations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing best practices for load utilization and cargo integrity.
  • Assist the warehouse manager in developing and implementing cargo sort operating plans and work instructions, including dock plans for door schedules and sequencing, staging and segregation, door load assignments, and processing times as necessary.
  • Make sure the warehouse receives all required documentation including load manifests and bills of lading.
  • Assist in managing trailer inventories, yard services, security, and access to facilitate the sortation operations.
  • Monitor OS&D shipments.
  • Support documentation as needed, including processing consolidations in e.tms Export and Import and monitoring workflows.
  • Work with the team on meeting KPI standards, as per the company’s procedures.
  • Identifying potential capacity constraints in the scheduled network.
  • Assist in enacting contingencies to expand ad hoc capacity as needed, and arranging reroutes and additional trucks as necessary.
  • Ensure service provider equipment is in place at regional branches to facilitate operations.
