About The Position
New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Grocery Team-Member at our Food Store in Valleyview, Alberta. Co-op does business differently. Requirements
- Excellent communication
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
- Available to work on a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent customer experience
- Ensure all grocery products are accurately priced, and a proper rotation is maintained within date, in the coolers and retail area
- Ensure that all grocery products are properly displayed, stocked and labeled
- Execute activities related to store merchandising initiatives to offer customers additional products and services (e.g., special sale items)
- Receive and unload product from trucks, pallets and organize stock room
- Perform additional duties as required including, but not limited to, routine price changes, housekeeping and compliance with health and safety regulations
