About The Position
New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Bakery/Deli Team Member at our Food Store in Valleyview, Alberta. Co-op does business differently. Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required
- Available to work on a flexible schedule
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent customer experience
- Filling bakery counter by weighing, packaging & attaching accurate price stickers to purchases
- Remove stock and clean display cases to prevent spoilage or contamination of food
- Assist in light food preparation
- Execute activities related to store merchandising initiatives to offer customers additional products and services (e.g., special sale items)
- Perform additional duties as required
