About The Position

The Grocery Team Member may work in any of The Fresh Market’s departments, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. The role focuses on providing excellent guest service, supporting guests with meal solutions, maintaining product knowledge, stocking and merchandising products, and helping keep the store clean and welcoming. The pay range is $17.00–$17.73 per hour. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to assist guests.
• Merchandise and stock products and specialty items throughout the day while assisting nearby guests.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present oneself professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
