Grocery & Receiving Clerk
About The Position
Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and energetic Grocery Clerk to join its Store Team. The position helps build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service and contributes to a friendly, welcoming shopping experience. Duties may include inventory replenishment, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining merchandise. Daily work can involve promptly and courteously assisting customers, unloading delivery trucks safely and efficiently, and accurately handling merchandise while assisting customers or restocking the sales floor. The Store Team works to maintain high standards of customer service and friendliness so customers feel at home in Bi-Mart stores. Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment. Stores are open 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements
- Communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Arrive on time with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Be precise, set priorities, and organize workload.
- Efficiently solve problems and offer solutions to customers.
- Engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, warehouse worker, or in another retail position.
- Experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly customer service and assist a variety of customers.
- Unload delivery trucks quickly and safely.
- Handle merchandise accurately.
- Replenish inventory and stock merchandise on the sales floor.
- Perform cashiering duties as needed.
- Maintain merchandise.
