About The Position

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to encourage customers to return. The role supports fair and accurate pricing, timely product availability, an inclusive work environment, and responsible community membership. Work includes unloading deliveries, sorting and moving merchandise, stocking shelves, labeling items, and building sales-floor displays.

Responsibilities

Conduct yourself professionally, maintain a positive attitude, and speak positively about the company around customers and employees.
Respond to customer questions and requests courteously and helpfully.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Understand and adhere to shrink guidelines.
Unload trucks carrying dairy, frozen, grocery, and other merchandise.
Remove merchandise from pallets and sort it according to the store area where it will be stocked.
Load merchandise onto carts and move it to designated shelves in the back room or on the sales floor for proper display.
Read codes on shelves and merchandise labels.
Manually attach price labels to each item.
Bring merchandise from the back room to stock sales-floor shelves and build special sales displays.
Operate a manual pallet jack, powered pallet stacker, or straddle stacker if over 18 years of age.
Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
