About The Position
Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to encourage customers to return. This includes treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, promoting an inclusive work environment, being a responsible community member, and providing the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. The role involves unloading and sorting merchandise, moving products to the appropriate areas, stocking shelves and sales-floor displays, attaching price labels, and responding courteously to customer questions and requests. The employee must follow company policies and shrink guidelines and perform the position’s essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Must be able to read codes on shelves and merchandise labels.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be over 18 years of age to operate a powered pallet stacker or straddle stacker.

Responsibilities
- Conduct yourself professionally, maintain a positive attitude, and speak positively about the company around customers and employees.
- Respond to customer questions and requests courteously and helpfully.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to shrink guidelines.
- Unload trucks carrying dairy, frozen, grocery, and other merchandise.
- Remove merchandise from pallets and sort it according to the area of the store where it will be stocked.
- Load merchandise onto carts for placement on designated shelves in the back room or sales floor.
- Read codes on shelves and merchandise labels.
- Manually attach price labels to items.
- Bring merchandise from the back room to stock sales-floor shelves and build special sales displays.
- Operate a manual pallet jack, powered pallet stacker, or straddle stacker if over 18 years of age.
- Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
