About The Position

C.A. Fortune is a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency seeking a Grocery Merchandiser to manage their assigned territory. This role involves completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, including taking pictures and submitting reports using provided technology. The position requires merchandising duties and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. The Grocery Merchandiser will be responsible for selling, merchandising, and gaining/maintaining distribution within various accounts, ensuring clients' products are well-stocked. Consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication is essential. This role requires the ability to switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day, and involves working independently with strong communication skills.

Requirements

Ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation.
Valid Driver License.
Proof of Automobile insurance.
Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.

Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).

Responsibilities

Manage assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks.
Take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided.
Sell, merchandise, and gain/maintain distribution within a variety of accounts.
Ensure clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
Consistently use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
Order products and work product to shelves from new orders.
Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
