About The Position

The Grocery Clerk provides prompt, efficient, and outstanding customer service. The role stocks, rotates, and replenishes products on shelves, maintains displays, processes deliveries by breaking loads down onto U-boats and transferring products to the sales floor, and keeps work areas clean by consolidating and organizing products. The work environment includes normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

Assist customers.
Stock merchandise and rotate and replenish products on shelves.
Face merchandise in the store.
Answer calls for price checks.
Cut open boxes with a box cutter.
Load carts with stock for the store floor.
Operate a baler and trash compactor.
Climb ladders or a stair tower to restock.
Check doors for security and floors for cleanliness.
Build displays and order merchandise.
Operate a lift.
Process deliveries by breaking loads down onto U-boats and transferring products to the sales floor.
Maintain clean work areas by consolidating and organizing products.
