About The Position
The Grocery Clerk provides excellent customer service and maintains a well-stocked, organized grocery department. The role includes stocking and rotating merchandise, helping customers, maintaining department cleanliness, monitoring product quality, and assisting with deliveries. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support store operations. Training and protective equipment will be provided for assigned tasks requiring special handling.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous grocery or retail experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Stock grocery shelves, ensuring proper product rotation and facing.
- Help customers locate items and answer their questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery department.
- Monitor product quality and report issues to management.
- Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support store operations.
