About The Position

The Production Associate supports the company’s food manufacturing process by helping ensure efficient, high-quality production. This role works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet production targets while maintaining safety and hygiene standards and delivering products that meet customer expectations.

The position operates production equipment, prepares ingredients, monitors product quality, packages and stores finished products, and maintains clean and sanitary work areas. It also works with the production team to troubleshoot issues, resolve equipment malfunctions, and improve production processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, recipes, and production schedules accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift and carry heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and address product quality issues.
• Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support production schedules.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, such as mixers, ovens, or assembly lines, according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and maintain quality control.
• Prepare ingredients, measure quantities, and follow recipes to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct regular quality checks, identify deviations or defects, and take corrective action.
• Package and accurately label finished products, and ensure proper storage and inventory management.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain a safe, hygienic production environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues, resolve equipment malfunctions, and optimize production processes.
