About The Position

The Grinding Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of grinding equipment used to process recyclable materials. This role supports daily production activities by operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• 1 years of manufacturing, recycling, or grinding operation experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Use hands and arms to operate machinery and equipment
• Bend, kneel, crouch, and lift materials throughout the shift
• Communicate effectively with fellow employees and supervisors
• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, moisture, dust, and dirty environments
• Safely operate forklifts and industrial equipment
• Maintain close and distance vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision necessary for operating machinery and completing documentation

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and related production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move, load, and stage materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other production duties as assigned by the supervisor.
