About The Position

Machine, repair, and finish critical aerospace components to precise specifications. This hands-on role operates CNC and manual grinding equipment, inspects completed work, and ensures parts meet quality, safety, and performance standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; workdays may fluctuate due to business needs and may include Monday through Sunday. A shift differential of $1–$3 per hour applies based on assigned workdays. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Experience operating grinding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding equipment.
• Machine and repair precision aerospace components to close tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, and other precision measuring tools.
• Change tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and complete inspection documentation.
• Operate overhead cranes and safely handle parts and materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
