They manufacture a broad range of DWV products, including cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings. Charlotte Pipe is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, with seven plant locations across the United States. The Monroe, NC location is seeking a Grinder with a proven track record. They are the only manufacturer offering a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for various applications. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Successful completion of Mechanical Reasoning Assessment

Responsibilities

  • Separate material based on color
  • Operate forklift (pick up material to be ground at molding machines)
  • Load conveyors
  • Operate grinding machines
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on grinding machines and conveyors
  • Keep work area and equipment up to 5S housekeeping standards
  • Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
