About The Position

This role is for a Grinder Operator on the 1st shift within Production Services. The operator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and safe operation of grinding equipment, adhering to production schedules, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Requirements

Ability to report to the Production floor in a timely manner for shift start
Ability to dress in the proper PPE (personal protective equipment)
Ability to review and verify the schedule/cards and check all meat against written formulas
Ability to verify meat weight, date, and type
Ability to follow grinding procedures as outlined in production formulation
Ability to document all process and productivity information
Ability to enter product information on the AX system and report any issues
Ability to perform lockout/tagout when wash downs or grinder checks are required
Ability to stop production line as needed to seek immediate attention to correct any problems
Ability to keep area clean, sanitary and follow safety work practices such as and GMP’s
Ability to assist team in dismantling and assembling equipment
Ability to meet with supervisor at the end of the day
Willingness to be cross trained within department to cover responsibilities if required

Responsibilities
