About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a grinder in a lamination environment, focusing on quality checks, process control, and maintaining a safe work environment. The role involves performing changeovers, set-ups, and assisting other operators as needed. A strong work ethic, good attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required for business travel
Regular and predictable attendance required
Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
Basic skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow work instructions and control plan
Perform change overs on the cut lines
Perform set-up and parameter checks
Assist with key tasks during changeovers
Perform quality checks and input data into the Quality System
Input GMaP’s data when required
Assist the Print Room Operator in c/o’s, screen changes, etc.
Maintain an organized clean work environment 5S
Perform other departmental task when directed by supervision
Understand required PPE, location and purpose of all lockouts and e-stops
Ability to work in a fast paced environment keeping the process running
Excellent trouble shooting skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to set priorities and goals
Leads by strong work ethic and good attendance record
Demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision making skills
Ability to perform the duties listed on the Intermediate Pay for Skills sign off sheet.
