GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Grill Cook at Methodist Healthcare University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The Grill Cook prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable federal, state, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations, providing high-quality food service. The role includes taking customer orders, preparing short-order items, completing orders from steam tables, and serving at multiple stations. The position pays $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. No previous experience is required; open availability is preferred, and days and hours may vary.

Responsibilities
- Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation; complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations.
- Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner while following established service steps and standards.
- Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty; taste prepared food items.
- Use established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records for the assigned work area during service periods.
- Follow approved recipes and production standards to maintain food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between workstations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas using established wrapping, dating, food-safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
- Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to a supervisor.
- Attend in-service and safety meetings.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
- Perform work safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
