GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Grill Cook prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable federal, state, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring high-quality food service. The position is full-time, with days that may vary and a stated schedule of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The location is 700 Bellevue Way, Bellevue, Washington. Pay is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. Bon Appétit Management Company operates cafés and restaurants and emphasizes scratch cooking with fresh, local ingredients and socially and environmentally responsible sourcing. Three years of previous line cooking experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation; complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously while following established service standards.
- Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty; taste prepared food items.
- Follow established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records for the area worked during service periods.
- Use approved recipes and production standards to maintain food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between workstations, the stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas using standard wrapping, dating, food-safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
- Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to the supervisor.
- Attend in-service and safety meetings.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
- Work safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
