About The Position

The Greige Boxer is responsible for keeping goods brought from the Knitting floor boxed, labeled, and banded so work flows in an orderly manner. The role works in the Greige area and includes unloading goods from a track, boxing socks, labeling cases, and banding boxes. The position requires consistent daily attendance and adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Basic education in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and disciplined work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Ability to recognize defects.
• Understanding of proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment required when working around machines.
• Consistent daily attendance.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Dump barrels of socks into cases.
• Place labels on cases.
• Band boxes using a banding machine.
• Unload goods from the track in the Greige area.
• Follow company policies, including attendance and punctuality requirements.
• Communicate courteously and professionally with co-workers, management, and others.
• Comply with regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
