About The Position

The Greeter provides a professional presence at store front entryways, deterring theft through engagement with customers entering and exiting the store and checkout area. The role requires constant awareness of customer activity and urgent responses to validate receipts, recover unpaid merchandise, and resolve alarms. Greeters also help keep team members and customers safe by identifying and resolving safety concerns, reducing disruption through company de-escalation and negotiation techniques, and documenting and communicating theft, safety, and alarm incidents.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
1–2 years of customer service experience or asset protection experience.
Clear and professional written and oral communication skills.
Ability to move actively throughout the work area for long periods.
Ability to respond to alerts quickly and urgently.
Ability to learn and interact with new and existing technology solutions.
Ability to use technology to document and communicate incidents.
Ability to learn and apply negotiation and de-escalation techniques.
Ability to work successfully with conflict.
Understand, speak, read, and write fluent English.
Normal or corrected vision and hearing.
Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. regularly.
Ability to use fine motor hand functions.
Ability to quickly exit from an escalating situation.
