About The Position

Ocean Course at Hokuala in Lihue, Hawaii, is hiring a full-time Greenskeeper. The role performs general golf-course landscape maintenance and detail work, including maintaining bunkers, preparing soil beds, operating small machinery and utility vehicles, and removing weeds and debris. The position is part of Troon, a professional club management company focused on guest and member experiences.

Requirements

• Less than high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties and communicate with English-speaking customers or coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers.
• Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material.
• Perform course-detail tasks, including weed and debris cleanup.
• Operate utility vehicles to haul material and remove debris.
• Operate equipment safely while remaining aware of associates and their work areas.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
