About The Position

The Greenskeeper maintains the golf course and its surrounding work areas. The role performs precision mowing and rolling of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using riding and walk-behind equipment; maintains sand bunkers and cart paths; clears debris; and assists with cup and flag rotations. It also includes regular trash removal and cleaning on-course restroom facilities. The Greenskeeper completes delegated work orders promptly and professionally, keeps workspaces and equipment orderly, cares for tools and equipment, and reports unsafe conditions immediately. The position requires outdoor work in varied weather, early morning hours, and work on weekends and holidays as required by the golf season.

Requirements

• General understanding of landscaping.
• Knowledge of and ability to safely and efficiently operate tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays as required by the golf season.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mowing and rolling of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using specialized riding and walk-behind equipment.
• Maintain sand bunkers and cart paths, clear debris, and assist with cup and flag rotations.
• Remove trash regularly and clean on-course restroom facilities.
• Keep workspaces clean and orderly, and store tools, equipment, and spare parts in their proper locations.
• Properly care for and treat tools and equipment used to perform tasks.
• Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
