About The Position

The Greenskeeper maintains the golf course and property grounds, preparing the course for daily play and carrying out groundskeeping tasks. The role requires using designated tools and equipment according to supervisor direction and safety guidelines, completing tasks within an acceptable time frame, and working collaboratively with a positive attitude. The schedule is flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Working knowledge of golf course-specific operations.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
Ability to walk a minimum of five miles daily.
Ability to lift 70 pounds.
Ability and willingness to stand or sit for long periods.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule for a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.
Ability to use designated tools and equipment as directed and follow applicable safety rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Maintain all aspects of the property grounds.
Maintain bunkers and mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, and greens using a walking or riding greens mower only.
Blow clippings and debris.
Set up the golf course for daily play.
Spread pine straw and mulch, and spray weeds.
Use designated tools and equipment as directed by the supervisor and follow safety rules and guidelines.
Promote a positive working environment and relationships with team members across departments and divisions.
Complete tasks within an acceptable time frame.
Demonstrate and model safety rules and guidelines, using personal protective equipment as required.
Report safety or hazard concerns and work-related injuries to management immediately.
Take personal responsibility for safety every day.
Perform additional duties as necessary.
