They are currently seeking a full-time Night Shift Supervisor for their Growing Department at the Delta facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Reading, writing, oral communication, and effective listening skills
Leadership, development, treating others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect
Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with reports and management
Attention to detail
Commitment to continuous learning
Ability to make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions

Responsibilities

Ensures employees are aware of and follow their job descriptions and all company policies, adhering to progressive discipline procedures when necessary and reporting non-conformances.
Ensures visitors and non-employees are aware of and follow Nature Fresh food, safety, and quality policies.
Manages the team according to company standards, issuing written and verbal warnings when necessary, and reporting incidents and absenteeism to HR or Health & Safety.
Actively involved in employee hands-on training and follow-up to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly, with ongoing training and development.
Reviews employee labor tracking system and notifies employees of improper job and hour logging.
Motivates and encourages workers, communicating as necessary.
Plans, delegates, and leads the team to improve performance and quality.
Completes compulsory paperwork according to Nature Fresh policies.
Maintains a full understanding of the Canker prevention and control procedure.
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality regarding employee and job-related matters.
Handles difficult situations with confidence, utilizing provided policies and procedures, and escalating to a manager if necessary.
