About The Position
Historic New England seeks a part-time Greenhouse Assistant at the Lyman Estate Greenhouses. The assistant will promote and conduct sales of plants, merchandise, and memberships to meet established goals. The assistant will also participate in the maintenance and interpretation of the historic plant collection and greenhouse.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with the public.
- One year of retail sales experience.
- One year of nursery or greenhouse sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be available weekends.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
